AI Art Illusion
AI Art Illusion

The MaMO "AI Art Illusion" exhibition explores the intersection of artificial intelligence and art, challenging the notion that AI cannot generate authentic artistic creations. By synthesizing AI-generated images into holographic sculptures, the exhibition aims to provoke thought and discussion about the nature of art in the digital age.

The collection consists of 21 holographic spheres, each created using a custom-built digital workflow to transform AI-generated images into volumetric 3D point cloud holograms. This innovative approach pushes the boundaries of traditional pointillism, introducing a concept the exhibition refers to as "spatial pointillism."

Visitors to the exhibition can experience the holographic sculptures in chromostereopsis, a technique that enhances depth perception through the use of contrasting colors. Additionally, the collection can be viewed using red-blue anaglyph glasses, further immersing viewers in the multidimensional experience.

Through the fusion of AI technology and holographic art, "AI Art Illusion" challenges preconceived notions of creativity and explores the limitless possibilities of digital expression. Each piece is designed to be exhibited at any size and scale, offering viewers a truly immersive and thought-provoking encounter with art in the digital era.
